PrinciplesWe operate by integrating ourselves into the communities in which we work in order to identify their needs, build the capacity of the local community to help themselves and monitor the impact of our programs closely. Our guiding principle is accountability to our beneficiaries.
Supporting Chance International represents an unique opportunity to ensure that donations reach the people who need it, undiluted. All the money we raise goes directly to the charity's beneficiaries. No salaries or expenses are paid to administrators of the charity and only local salaries are paid to staff in Indonesia. Since Chance International was established in 2008, the neighbouring villages of Lampineung, Lam Gapang, Lamboui and Kling have been brought into our Programs and we have been inundated with requests to expand further with the region, as far away as 150km.
Our guiding principle is accountability to our beneficiaries. Supporting Chance International represents an unique opportunity to ensure that your donation reaches the people who need it undiluted. All the money we raise goes directly to the charity's beneficiaries. No salaries or expenses are paid to administrators of the charity and only local salaries are paid to staff in Indonesia. Faced with the choice of making little difference to the welfare of many and a great difference to the welfare of few, the founder of Chance International, Natascha Barrymore, determined to provide a hands on approach to aid and eventually set up Chance International, originally meeting the immediate needs of the 400 inhabitants of the village of Lam Asan. Since Chance International was established in 2008, the neighbouring villages of Lampineung and Lam Gapang have been brought into our Programs and we have been inundated with requests to expand further with the region, as far away as 150km.
